I've been there only 4 times so far and I refuse to not leave a review. I normally don't leave reviews but I must on this one. First of all it's a really good environment. We are people of color and are used to being treated differently at times. Well, the moment that we entered was treated warm by the friendliest host with that southern touch. Very nice and attentive to EVERYONE. The food is always amazing and we always get enough food! They are not stingy with their meals either. I've gotten full every time I've been there. So,when you visit this place, please go hungry or you will be taking home a to go box. This is one of our new favorite places to eat. We've been telling all of our friends who visit us to check this out. I think they sale fresh seafood as well. This is a charming place! I hope they never change a thing except expand if they have to. It has this authentic southern feel about the atmosphere. We really enjoy it there. It's rare to get great food, plenty of it with amazing service. Thank you guys for being there! Thank you for being friendly to all. It's noticeable. I highly recommend this place 👌. You have to try it once and I promise that you will go back.

Had a great Valentine's Day meal. Fresh seafood always cooked hot and fresh with great service and very fair prices. A hidden gem without crazy tourist traffic like decent seafood places in Destin.

Man, this place is amazing. If you want the snow crabs, come early. I missed that window, but I sure did well with the surf and turf (Gulf Coast Shrimp). Although it looks amazing, it tastes even better.

Edited to fix typos. My wife and I decided we needed to get out for a little while and spend some quality time together. She wanted to see a movie, so we looked to see where it might still be playing, and Crestview was the closest to us. We got ready, took Little Man next door to the in-laws' and headed southeast. On the way, we started discussing what we wanted to eat. Now, typically, when we're in Crestview, we got to my favorite pizza place in the Florida panhandle. (Y'all know. Keep reading...) But we'd had pizza the day before and weren't really ready for it again. So she started looking while I drove. We talked about a couple of places before reading the menu for Emerald Isle Seafood Restaurant and Market. We made a mental note and kept browsing. That's when she found the ice cream shop downtown. I suggested that we go back and pick somewhere to eat based on the desserts they offered. That's when we found the brownie a la mode at Emerald Isle Seafood (EIS, going forward). So we set the GPS and kept on going. As soon as we got close, I realized that back when I worked in Crestview, I drove by this place a dozen times a day. I'd often looked at it but had never eaten there. We parked a little after 4 pm. and went right in. There were a few places readily available for us in the dining room on the right-hand side of the building, so they seated us straight away. Our server was Haley (I hope I spelled it correctly), and she brought us menus and took our drink orders. She came back to visit a few times before we made up our feeble minds, but my wife opted for the blackened Mahi Mahi with steamed veggies and coleslaw while I ordered a platter with fried fish strips and shrimp with fries and seasoned rice. Soon after, the place was packed! There were 3 wonderful ladies sitting behind my wife that I spoke to who are regulars who come specifically for the mudbugs (crawdads for the uninitiated and crayfish for our friends from north of the Mason-Dixon). One of the

We went to EI on a recommendation from a friend, and wow, are we glad we did! I don't eat tuna fish, but my husband ordered the smoked tuna dip. I tried it and it was absolutely delicious! It tasted so much better than I imagined it would. I had steak and grilled shrimp and my husband had a smorgasbord of seafood...shrimp, scallops, etc. It was all completely delicious. The food was seasoned perfectly and there wasn't a boring bite to be had. We will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys seafood. Oh, and the cheesecake and bread pudding were enough by themselves for a repeat visit!

Amazing Family Seafood restaurant. Not fancy, just delicious. Not in the mood for seafood? No problem, they have plenty of other foods to choose from. Highly recommended.

My first time here and I'd have to say they didnt disappoint. Julz was my server and although you can tell she had a long day she still provided good service. Coming from someone who is in the restaurant industry in high volume i completely understand. What I had: Raw oysters $19 absolutely amazing to be in crestview i almost thought i was on the harbor in destin for a second. 120z mid rare ribeye with okra, and rice. Order came out wrong and had fries which i never ordered, but Julz corrected it with no issue i did taste a few fries and they were cooked to perfection. The okra and rice were amazing. But my oh my the steak seasoned perfect and was my perfect temp! I cant believe I've lived here so long and this is my first time here. I let julz know what my allergies were and she was prompt to make sure I didn't have to use my epi pen. Emerald isle you may have just found yourself a new regular!

My family treated me to dinner at Emerald Isle Seafood during my visit to FL from AZ and I was very impressed. The atmosphere was welcoming, with the walls decorated in an oceanic theme and the background music the perfect volume (low enough for patrons to easily converse, while loud enough to enjoy the classic/popular selection). The staff were not only extremely friendly and professional, our waitress in particular was accommodating by offering helpful suggestions to alternative dishes so I could adhere to my restrictive diet. Her memory was sharp as our group of 5 made changes as we ordered and as we eventually even added food to go (tuna dip for more out of town guests arriving the next day and frozen alligator tail to cook at a later date). I was pleasantly surprised when she produced a gluten-free and dairy-free menu that detailed which foods were compliant and which could be prepared in such a way as to not adversely affect those with dietary allergies or sensitivities. Of particular note was the delicious food: prepared to perfection and in generous portions. The creamy, Smoked Tuna Dip was flavorful (and rapidly consumed), and the Surf and Surf (shrimp and snow crab legs) was specially prepared without spices for me and was still absolutely mouth watering. And the Buffalo Chicken Tender Po'Boy, Mahi-Mahi Orleans, Chicken Strip Sandwich with Texas toast were all eaten with gusto. This dinner was a highlight of my visit so far and plans were made to return for both lunch and dinner in the future. I highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant and look forward to coming back the next time I'm in the area.

Was going to another place but they were closed. Glad they were. The food here was great. I had grilled Mahi Mahi awesome flavor. Cheese grits were awesome. Wish we had one in our home town in Alabama.
